Fast, Painless, and Accurate Monitoring

Managing your INR shouldn’t require taking time off work or waiting days for a phone call. We combine clinical safety with the speed of urgent care.

Walk-In Accessibility: No appointments required. Come in when it fits your schedule—including evenings and weekends.

Rapid Fingerstick Testing: We use point-of-care technology to provide your INR result in minutes using just a fingerstick—no venous blood draws required.

Real-Time Review: Your results are reviewed immediately by our providers while you are here.

Seamless Coordination: We act as an extension of your medical team. We fax your INR results to your prescribing doctor (Cardiologist or PCP) immediately after every visit.

How Our Service Works

1. Check In Walk in at your convenience. We check you in just like a standard urgent care visit—no complicated referral barriers.

2. Vitals & Testing Our Medical Assistant will take your vitals and perform a quick fingerstick test.

3. Immediate Results & Care Our provider reviews the result instantly. We can refill your Warfarin prescription if needed and make small dosing adjustments on the spot.

4. Safety First If your numbers are significantly out of range (too high or too low), we provide immediate safety advice—such as holding a dose—and contact your prescribing physician for further orders.

How to Transfer Your Care to Us

Switching your monitoring to Brea Urgent Care is simple.

1. Bring Your Meds: Please bring your current bottle of Warfarin/Coumadin and your most recent dosing schedule.

2. Bring Recent Results: If possible, bring a copy of your last 2-3 INR results.

3. Just Walk In: Visit us at 395 W Central Ave. Tell the front desk you are here for an INR check.

We operate under standard urgent care guidelines. We accept most major insurances and are currently seeing Providence/St. Jude members without reimbursement issues. You typically do not need a special prior authorization to walk in for testing.

Yes. Our providers can refill your previously prescribed Warfarin consistent with our safety protocols.

Your safety is our priority. If your INR is above the therapeutic range, we will advise you on immediate safety steps (such as holding your dose) and coordinate directly with your prescribing doctor for a new care plan.

Our service focuses on INR monitoring and oral Warfarin management. Bridging therapy is managed by your prescribing physician.
