These on-site labs reduce wait times for results and also reduce the fees associated with having to go to another location for such lab work.
At Brea Urgent Care we offer state-of-the-art laboratory testing. This includes blood work, strep tests, urine tests and others as ordered by the physician caring for you. Our lab technicians use analyzers for electrochemistry, coagulation, urinalysis, hematology and/or a triage cardiac meter as needed to help your doctor pinpoint your medical situation and provide appropriate treatment. Most tests are performed in-house, with results available within minutes. Our fast turnaround times enable Brea Urgent Care physicians to make quick, informed decisions regarding medical care. In cases where we use an outside laboratory, results are usually available next day. Our laboratory services include:

In addition to the above, Brea Urgent Care also offers an array of infectious disease panels including those for patients concerned about STD’s. We feel that communication is critical to our patients to empower them to be their own advocate so for this reason we call all patients personally with positive or negative results. At the patients request, we can fax or email via our HIPPAA protected system a copy of the labs to the patients for their personal record.
